A great start to the week for me today. I did a six miler at about 2 pm. It was alright. It was quite warm today and it seemed more humid than normal but I guess that is normal around Miami. At around mile five there is a house I go past where 3 dogs always bark at me. I’m used to them by now but today one of them got out. As I passed by the house I felt something wet on my leg and I turned around and almost had a shock as I usually would run from a dog. However, I needed to make sure this dog didn’t get hit or taken away by someone else, especially because he was running after me. I guess that was the highlight of my run today. I also went outside around 1pm to start but it was really hot and of course with no working headphones I felt keeping my mind on things would be quite a chore without the distraction of the music to take me away. So I made a pit stop at Best Buy and picked up new headphones. That did the trick. Six miles down and it’s only Monday. Gotta love it.
